Most people
know birthday cards and a lot of us use it on the birthday of a friend or
relative or just somebody you know. Sometimes you send a birthday card by mail,
email or give it in person and sometimes this comes with gifts alongside it and
sometimes it doesn’t, obviously it’s easier to bring a gift if you give the
birthday greetings in person instead of by mail or email. And some might be uncomfortable to send
birthday greetings through the mail with money inside the card. You never know
what happens along the way .
Now when
you give a birthday greeting there many things you can give as a gift alongside
it, first en a very popular idea is to just give the birthday person money
inside the birthday card, or a some ticket worth 50/100 dollar or Euros in that
specific store, for some reason that seems to be a popular choice despite
majority just preferring the money as a gift.
While you could say giving money shows you didn’t really bother looking for a good gift, you can also argue that the birthday person would probably be a lot happier with money so he can spend it anywhere he wants over a coupon that he can only spend in that specific store, a store he happens to just never ever visit. It can happen to all of us.

While obviously
those who really know you well will be able to make a good judgment call on
what to buy for you (and even then it’s often a disaster if you ask me). I would
argue that unless you have a pretty good idea money will always be better then
coupons, and a actual gift will in majority of the cases be a better idea then
both cash and a coupon!
